Keren Hayesod Boulevard, Beer Yaacov (2010-2013)

The Keren Hayesod Boulevard is the main axis of the city of Beer Yaacov, and is its main and oldest traffic line. The intention is to improve its design, respecting the existing entrances of the bordering houses and the old fichus trees. We proposed a pedestrian and bike pathway between the two rows of trees. In front of every street perpendicular to the pathway is a resting piazza: a square of concrete, stone or deck, different to each other in character. Red and silver cylinder columns hold up aluminum pergolas for shade, and many benches made of wood or concrete are along the way.
