Golomb School, Tel Aviv (2012 – 2015)

The Golomb Primary School in Tel Aviv was in need of a Laboratory, a Library and a new entrance Lobby to an existing building. Its location is on an intersection of two streets in the south of the city. The building we had to work with is in an "L" shape, leaving the open courtyard towards the corner.

We studied various possible layouts for our extension, looking for the one least intrusive to the existing courtyard. The chosen proposition is of a roundish shape, parallel to the fence in the corner. The shapes achieved as a result in the landscape and interior are mostly pleasant.
